The FSC Philosophy: Safety, Transparency, and Results
Our Integrated 6-StepProject Workflow
"Robust 6-step workflow"
At FSC LLP, we believe that a structured process leads to predictable success. We have distilled our decades of experience into a robust6-step workflowthat governs every engagement, whether it’s a custom synthesis for a startup or a multi-tonnage supply for a multinational. This philosophy ensures that "Safety" and "Scale" are considered from day one.

Step 1: Request for Proposal (RFP) & Screening
Every project begins with a deep-dive screening. We don't just say "yes" to every project; we evaluate:
• Technical Feasibility: Can we execute this chemistry safely and efficiently?
• Route Scouting: Is there a better, greener, or cheaper way to build this molecule?
• Environmental Impact: What is the waste profile of this project?

Step 2: Process Development & Optimization
Once the project is greenlit, our synthetic chemists move into the lab. The goal here is Process Familiarization. We optimize reaction times, solvent volumes, and work-up procedures to ensure the process is "rugged" enough for a commercial plant.

Step 3: Pilot Studies
In this stage, we move from the bench to 5L-20L glass assemblies. We conduct:
• Mixing and Agitation Studies.
• Heat Transfer Calculations.
• Generation of Pilot Reports: Capturing every observation that might affect large-scale manufacturing.

Step 4: Technology Transfer (Tech Transfer)
This is the bridge to commercialization. We prepare a "Regulatory-Ready" Tech Transfer package.
• P&ID and PFD Development.
• Safety "What-If" Analysis: Predicting and preventing potential hazards.
• Walkthroughs: Physical inspection of the commercial reactor setup.

Step 5: Commercial Manufacturing
The execution phase. Under the oversight of our Group Leaders, we run the campaign.
• Team Training: Every operator is trained specifically for your process.
• In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Real-time monitoring to ensure the reaction stays within the "Design Space."

Step 6: Campaign Reporting
The project doesn't end when the material is shipped. We provide a final Campaign Report, including:
• Yield analysis and material balance.
• Deviations and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) reports.
• Final tech transfer package for your long-term use.
Communication and Transparency
Learn about our StrategicCollaboration
We operate as an extension of your team. Our partners receive weekly project updates, including HPLC chromatograms and photographs of the reaction setup. This level of transparency is why many of our clients follow us from our KVB ASTA days to the present.
